Beyond the Music returns with a profound story of love and friendship spanning four symphonies. Conductor Earl Lee joins your Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra, performing excerpts from Brahms's beloved Symphony No.4 in E minor. Curated and hosted by HSO Director of Artistic Engagement and Composer in Residence, Michael-Thomas Foumai, uncover the endearing story of Brahms and composer/pianist Clara Schumann, through their letters and the Fourth's breathtaking finale.
